We warmly invite proposals for an exciting piece of research, which will help better understand the needs of advice workers as we seek to attract and retain talented and experienced staff.

Our initial research has identified the challenges facing the advice sector in its efforts to develop sustainable and inclusive workforce pathways.  

We are now inviting proposals to undertake research into current salaries and conditions within the advice sector, and produce a report with draft pay scales and conditions which can be used to inform activities within the advice sector, funding sector and beyond.

Key information:

Budget: We are providing two budget ranges: (lower range) £17,500-£25,000; and (upper range) £25,000-£40,000.  Applicants are free to make proposals based on either or both of these ranges.  

Deadline for submissions: Monday 12 August 2024

Interviews: Weds 28 August – Weds 4 September 2024

Work beginning: w/c 30 September 2024
