Brighton Legal Walk – Wednesday 18 May

Thank you so much to everyone who took on 10km for justice in 2021! Together you raised over £5,000 for free local advice agencies in Brighton.

The Brighton Legal Walk is a 10km sponsored walk which supports free frontline legal advice agencies in Brighton. The walk starts from the Magistrates Court on Edward Street, and finishes at Hove Town Hall for a drinks reception. Registration for the 2022 event is now open – sign up below.

Why We Walk
The important thing is that we raise as much as possible for the advice agencies who are struggling to maintain services with the increased challenges created by COVID-19 and lockdown.
The number of people seeking help with Debt, Benefits, Homelessness and Employment has increased dramatically since the start of the pandemic. Those seeking help with Domestic Violence has also risen sharply.
Taking part in the Brighton Legal Walk raises vital funds for local advice agencies BHT Sussex, Citizens Advice Brighton & Hove, Possability People and Money Advice Plus.
