Director of Policy at the Legal Aid Practitioners Group
When did you first get involved with LLST?
I have just joined as a Trustee but have followed the progress of the Trust since Bob moved from being CEO at South West London Law Centres to the LLST in 2008
What is your favourite part of the role?
I am very new to the role of Trustee but already enjoy reading the funding applications from such worthwhile organisations.
What is the worst part of the role?
Seeing how many legal advice agencies are struggling to keep afloat in this difficult funding climate.
Have there been any memorable moments?
I have participated in a number of London Legal Walks and they are always memorable.
What do you hope to see in the future for LLST/the agencies we support?
Increased funding from Central and Local Government for legal advice agencies and recognition of the vital role that they perform within their local communities.
When you are not working or volunteering what can you be found doing?
Spending time with my children and running in the countryside.
Favourite book or film?
The English Patient by Michael Ondaatje.
