Reading Legal Walk – Tuesday 16th September

Led by HHJ Emma Nott and HHJ Jo Vincent

A huge thank you to the over 250 walkers who stepped up for justice in Reading. It was incredible to see so many people collectively showing support for frontline advice in their local community.

We are excited to announce that we have raised over £11,100 (and counting) for Age UK Reading, Citizens Advice Reading, FLAG DV, Launchpad, and Refugee Support Group.

We look forward to seeing you all again next year, with an event date to be announced in due course.

Why We Walk
The important thing is that we raise as much as possible for the advice charities who are struggling to maintain services with the increased challenges created by the rising cost of living crisis.
The number of people seeking help with Debt, Benefits, Homelessness and Employment has also increased dramatically since the start of the pandemic. Those seeking help with Domestic Violence has also risen sharply.
Taking part in the Reading Legal Walk raises vital funds for local advice charities.

Support access to justice and join LLST’s fundraising events.

Please be aware that we are not able to provide legal advice. Please visit advicelocal.uk to find support in your area, or advicenow.org.uk for practical information.
